Travel Journals
This gallery contains examples of the artist's work executed on his numerous trips to S.E.Asia, Latin America and Europe. Working in a wide variety of media such as watercolor, graphite, pastel and collage, he filled many sketchbooks with his observations. Many of these travel notes, when "read" in the context of a sketchbook, create a chronological narrative of a trip as well as occasionally serving as preliminary studies for more formal studio pieces.
